The ACG Graft Series marks my return to a concept I first introduced over 10 years ago.

The goal remains the same: to create a workhorse bass that has everything you need to get the job done, without distractions.

These handcrafted basses are made using the same techniques as all ACG builds. I decided a long time ago that I was not interested in getting basses made over seas and while I have no issue with CNC I don’t want to off shore builds to factories on the other side of the world. These basses are still built in the UK by ACG. If they were to get to the point where I could not keep up with orders I would be happy to use CNC but it would still be based in the UK. Not at that point so all the Graft and Graft Plus Series builds are still entirely coming out of my workshop.

Previously, Graft and Graft Plus builds were only available as finished instruments. We are excited to announce a shift in how you can buy: while we aren’t moving to full “bespoke” commissions yet, you can now select your preferred body and complete the specifications yourself.

Hardware is sourced from my trusted suppliers: Gotoh, Hipshot, East, and Dunlop.
Each bass will be equipped with ACG B Series SB/SB70 single-coil pickups and an FB Humbucker, along with CTS volume and tone controls, a custom East blend, and a front-mounting jack. Dunlop or D’Addario strings will complete the setup.
