GRAFT SERIES
The ACG Graft Series marks my return to a concept I first introduced over 10 years ago.
The goal remains the same: to create a workhorse bass that has everything you need to get the job done, without distractions.
These handcrafted basses are made using the same techniques as all ACG builds. I decided a long time ago that I was not interested in getting basses made over seas and while I have no issue with CNC I don’t want to off shore builds to factories on the other side of the world. These basses are still built in the UK by ACG. If they were to get to the point where I could not keep up with orders I would be happy to use CNC but it would still be based in the UK. Not at the point so all the Graft and Standard Series builds are still entirely coming out of my workshop.
The wood selection will be at my discretion, featuring high-quality materials from the ACG wood store.
Hardware is sourced from my trusted suppliers: Gotoh, Hipshot, East, and Dunlop. Each bass will be equipped with ACG B Series SB/SB70 single-coil pickups and an FB Humbucker, along with CTS volume and tone controls, a custom East blend, and a front-mounting jack. Dunlop or D’Addario strings will complete the setup.
Graft Plus
Increased options separate the Plus from the Graft.
The wood selection will again be at my discretion, and now includes a top wood. Additionally, there will be three different scale lengths available: 34″, 32″, and 30″. A fretless option will also be offered, with or without fret lines.
One of the key upgrades in this series is the East J Tone preamp, which includes a 2-band EQ with active/passive settings.
These instruments are built only as stock models, meaning they cannot be ordered in advance and will be available for purchase once completed. Keep an eye on the In Progress section in the Sale page to see up coming builds which can be secured with a deposit before they are completed.

Bridge: Hipshot Type B Black, with 19mm spacing for 4 string and 18mm for 5 string
