Graft Series

The ACG Graft Series will see me revisiting a concept that I first introduced over 10 years ago.
The idea then as it is now, to produce a work horse bass with everything you need to get the job done with zero distractions.
These are hand crafted basses made in exactly the same way as any ACG instrument. The wood selection will be at my discretion featuring quality woods from the ACG wood store.
The hardware again from my usual suppliers; Gotoh, Hipshot, East and Dunlop.
Pickups are ACG B Series SB/SB70 single coils or FB Humbuckers.
Passive electronics, featuring a CTS Volume and Tone controls with a custom East blend control and front mounted jack.
Dunlop or Daddario strings.

The Graft Series are built only as a stock instruments, these builds can not be ordered and will be made available when they are completed.

The Specification

Body shape: J Type – small bodied modern Jazz style bass
Number of strings: 4 and 5 string
Scale: 34″ with 24 frets
Neck: 3-piece Maple with Carbon Rods and Dual Action Truss Rod
Headstock: 3+1 on 4 string basses, 4+1 on 5 string basses
Hardware: Hipshot Type B Bridge 19mm spacing on 4 string, 18mm on 5 string, Gotoh GB 720 or Hipshot Tuners, Hipshot String Tree, Dunlop Strap Buttons, all in Black
Pickups: ACG SB/SB70 single coils or ACG FB Humbuckers
Electronics: Passive Volume/Tone/Blend with a front mounted jack socket
Scratchplate: Various or without
Finish: Oil/Resin or Lacquer in natural or stained colours
